Printing Money

I have been in this business for many years and the one aspect of the internet that continues to surprise me in everyones under estimate of how much money can be made.

I have had many sucessful clients and when our service providers are unable to provide adequate service due to high volumes of sales I always hear the comment "We are not prepared for people like you who are making money like your printing it".

Everyone says they can handle huge volumes and their system can manage millions of users, that is what they say when they have 20 users, when a real client shows up and crashes their system, they say its like printing money. More than they can handle.

I have torn through processing companies that could not handle volume sales without major problems.

Most businesses underestimate what everyone is doing online.

Take as an example dell.com which had no retail sales as of the day they opened their website. On the first day of business they sold 14 million dollars in sales, the rest is history.

One year victoria secret decided to advertise an upcoming lingere webcast during the superbowl. Guess what? The servers crashed. They did not expect so many people to watch.

The reality is, the iternet is huge and has massive potential. The kind of potential that even huge corporations are not prepared to manage. This is a huge potential that means huge dollars in your pockets.

There is no limit to the money that can be earned online because all the commerce is automated. While a cashier can get one customer though their line every 2 to 3 minutes a web server can manage thousands of simultaneous transactions every second.

All of my web customers have been accused of the proverbial "Printing Money" by the people that run real world stores.

As for me, I would rather be on the sharing end of seemingly endless transactions than yelling at a cashier to speed things up.
